Use the same safety checks for every backup domain. A correct logo and an HTTPS padlock are useful signals, but neither one proves by itself that a page is the intended player site.
A 30-second login check

- Close the page without submitting more information.
- If credentials were entered, change the password through a previously trusted route.
- Keep the suspicious URL and a redacted screenshot for support, without exposing account or payment details.
